Ironclad is a high-end performance workwear manufacturer catering to construction and recreational sports customers as well as military and police and fire departments. CoG designed the packaging for Ironclad’s debut line of apparel sold mainly in hardware stores. We used the familiar shape of a brick so if hanging displays weren’t available, boxes could be stacked on end-caps or pallets.

Kyle’s background as an illustrator came in handy as packaging was produced weeks before product was available to photograph.

We designed hangtags for Ironclad’s premium icon series using subtle metallics and a spot varnish to distinguish their gloves from competitors. To incentivize sales, promo tees were printed with illustrations by Kyle, one for the construction demographic and the other for public sector sales.
